LegendKeymasterBiden will form a commission. Results to be a report issued in 2022 on what actually happened.
A lot of people don’t understand how deeply ingrained a bias for or against action becomes in a given individual’s makeup. Trump and Biden are at exact opposite poles.

LegendKeymasterIt’s a fascinating strategy: foment outrage, division, and violence that will end when the good guy gets elected. Thereafter, point to the absence of violence as “healing” and “unity” that the bad guy couldn’t manage.
It’s as if we are in a made for TV movie. A bad one.
In reality it is the only leg they have to stand on: that Trump was bad for the country. If he wasn’t, then a LOT of Dems are really bad people. Really bad.
I still believe that history will judge Trump’s presidency favorably from a policy perspective. Yeah, he’s a boor, and that will ultimately he his downfall as a politician, but is that really surprising? I think that’s a lot less surprising than Arab countries recognizing Israel, people of color having the most economic opportunity of all time, and a massive spotlight being placed on the power of an intransigent bureaucracy.

LegendKeymasterDidn’t trump get more votes than in 2016? Hardly a repudiation. He was always the underdog.
still, I don’t think This is something he could do.
all that said, I believe the trump phenomenon will change politics for then better. Mainly it has opened people’s eyes to the games being played for their votes and to keep power structures in place.
A trump loss is a huge win for the entrenched bureaucracy and its patrons regardless of color. That bad for all of us.
Maybe somebody could pick up Trump’s mantle without the rough edge.

Coincidentally, I have about a bottle and a half of that smelly stuff sitting in my liquor cubby as I write this, and I will resent you for associating my enjoyment of Laphroaig with somebody’s enjoyment of Kamala.

LegendKeymasterHey GR, wait until you see the cult of personality around Nikki Haley. It’s gonna be uge, and a lot of people will realize she’s a tea partier and trump never was.
here’s to four years of prosperity for us all.

LegendKeymasterYeah. Trump is the only narcissist in this game.
Im w cc. I think Trump is done. Michigan moving hard toward Biden probably seals it, but they ARE still counting.
while I’m no fan of Biden as president, if he is indeed the president elect then we get some sense of normalcy in the White House, along with a relative beat down of the so called blue wave and the senate firewall still in place.
the market likes that.

LegendKeymasterHard to tell what to think at the moment. I’d like to say I like Trump’s chances, but with all of the “flexibility” around voting rules locally, who really knows?
Stalin’s famous quote holds sway: It’s not who votes but who counts the votes that matters.
It’s a disgrace that we don’t have some sort of secure voting system that tallies instantaneously. We’ve touted blockchain for years and this seems tailor made for it, but nah, paper ballots and stamps that some idiots probably still lick the sticky side of.

Kamala H literally just endorsed equal outcomes.

LegendKeymasterThe Biden campaign earlier today issued a soft concession of PA and FL. They said they could still win without those two. That was crazy.
It might be even bigger than what you say, spike. MN, MI?
I still need to see the votes counted and the shenanigans fought off if there are any, but damn.

LegendKeymasterTreason is a hard one to win. The founders made it that way on purpose.
Now, sedition? Rioting? Assaults on officers and public property? You name the other offenses, I’m all in for enforcing the laws on the books. The problem with this last summer is that too many “authorities” got way too soft.
