pleading guilty was a mistake.  My opinion on that will not change.  But there is sufficient evidence now for the public to make an informed opinion that the prosecution was wrong and more importantly both the FBI and the DOJ kept evidence from the defense and anyone involved in keeping evidence from the defense should be fired.  I feel very strongly about constitutional rights and the checks and balances of our legal system…you can’t defend yourself against the state if the prosecutors violate the constitution.

GPN mentioned an important aspect for me, some consistent control of things.  Since I lost my fiance in early 90’s, I eventually settled on a life that involved simply doing alot less than what I was trying to do before, which was in my own way everything I could think of or saw.  I think the pursuit of happiness has been summed up well by FB Spike…the pursuit can drive you crazy or just make too damned tired.

I love my wife, I love my family (I love my brother more than ever because I have almost lost him twice this year now to the covid).  Get a great workout, do a good job, get some rest, read a good book, watch the sunsets.

Rocky, based on what we know now about the “investigation”, I agree with you.  Dude should walk and get a bleeppile of attorneys fees paid by the taxpayers.  You could talk me in to filing an indictment against Strok and the justice department for filing this.  It is interesting to me that Strok’s notes indicate that Comey said he the call was legit.  But it is hard to take Strok’s notes too seriously, he’s got notes on a meeting he wasn’t in…which means those notes are hearsay or worse…and by worse I mean a self-serving pile of b.s.

Rocky here is what you need to know about skinheads, just like dentists, their bark is worse than their bite.

Rocky, I can’t speak for the KKK or the idiots that wear MAGA hats, but as a punk rocker since 1979 I can tell you this, while skinheads are actually a remarkably diverse group, no self-respecting skinhead (an even smaller subgroup) would be caught dead with an AK.  Those dudes only buy American, not some cheap foreign handmedown garbage.

you follow the APA.  doesn’t matter if Obama didn’t, that wasn’t the issue before the court.  Have you ever heard the old phrase two wrongs don’t make a right.  Why are we talking about this, this is so obvious.

Let’s try this…if Thomas was right someone would have taken that case to court in 2013 and it already would have been to the Supremes long before Trump took office.  Thomas is wrong or the GOP had so sack.

I will never stand on the side of the righteous.  to be righteous is to be self-indulgent. I stand on the side of the sarcastic and with those who are tired of b.s. from both political parties and all flavors of fruitloops.

what makes you think he won’t recover attorneys fees when he wins.  with the release of the book unfettered by the court at this point, trump literally can’t win the actual case without magic.  At this point, his defense will include malicious prosecution claims which will entitle him to his costs if he wins…bolton is as low class as his former boss, but Bolton doesn’t need the money, he’s doing this for the giggles anyway and the book sales will more than pay for the defense costs and then you and I are going to end up paying his fees anyway.  the president needs to grow up and quit acting like a spoiled brat.  Barr’s office has other crap to do than this monkey jerking around.

And i would add, all ya’ll fake conservatives really love your freedom of speech until its inconvenient for you.  Don’t be like them liberals, have a pair of standards that actually matter.  bolton is a schmuck, but he is free to write his schmuckness down and publish it if it doesn’t have any classified information…and apparently it doesn’t have any classified information.

I’ll repeat myself, the court’s ruling was purely procedural, and trumpo can do a better job the next time.  its not hard to understand and Thomas makes great points, but what he forgot to say was, there is an existing set of laws in place that trumpo didn’t comply with according to the 5 prevailing justices.  He can quibble with Obama’s order all he wants, but that order wasn’t in front of them, trumpo’s order was.
