Covid related deaths versus influenza related deaths from February 1st, 2020 to November 18th 2020. Less than 7000 died having the flu, and those 6,809 may have had Covid as well. And the 2019-2020 flu season was suppose to be a bad one.

In April, the CDC estimated between 24k and 62k deaths during the 2019-20 flu season, by October they lowered the estimate to 22k deaths.

Not sure what to make of the numbers, except that they seem much lower especially given the in season, and pre Covid estimates.
