cardcrimsonParticipantscreams the headline. Several paragraphs in to the story, they mention that the classes were all virtual. They do emphasize that she was indeed in her classroom two weeks prior to her death.
Very sad.
Very misleading.

Rocky17ParticipantI am just so surprised that a very unfortunate death was used for political purpose by the media. Just shocking. I wonder which political party has used it to its advantage. Let me know when you have the answer!

cardcrimsonParticipantAnd from the Daily Mail:
At least four teachers have died from COVID-19 since start of the school year including 28-year-old South Carolina third-grade teacher
- At least four teachers in three states died from COVID-19 complications since the start of the school year
- Among them was South Carolina third-grade teacher Demetria Bannister, 28, who died Monday just three days after she was diagnosed with the virus
- One of the teachers is believed to have become infected at a church meeting
- Two others were already self-quarantining or in hospital before students and staff returned to the classroom
- After reopening, some schools have already been forced to ask hundreds of staff and students to quarantine following potential exposure to the virus
- In New York City on Tuesday, two staff members in a Brooklyn school tested positive just a day after returning to the building
Apparently none had kids in their classroom; two were in the hospital BEFORE school even started. Amazing
