You see it everywhere now. Lower quantity, higher prices.
My wife likes a certain olive oil from California and has been having 2 bottle packs shipped here for years. Great stuff. We get low, she reorders. The price rises a little from year to year but we use a lot and it’s something we like.
She reordered last week but they no longer have 2 packs. Only 1 bottle or 3 bottle packs. Price for 1 bottle up $2 to $18 (free shipping Amazon Prime), the new 3 pack cost $70. No one orders one bottle you say to yourself. I’ll get a better deal with a 3 pack! And without doing the math, you simply re-order. It’s a price increase of 33%. Food and gas are up more since Nov 4.
