Rocky17ParticipantUnless she has red flags in her background, it will difficult politically for many Dems to oppose a hispanic woman from a swing state who was a Cuban immigrant refugee. Then again we are talking about Democrats who want to overthrow the US government and use the Constitution only as a prop.

cardcrimsonParticipantDon’t know much about either, except that Barrett is very pro-life and the Dems have had a few years to prepare the case against her. The knifes will come out and it will be a bloodbath to try and stop her nomination.
Lagoa makes more sense, frankly. Disappointing that excellence on the bench is irrelevant at this point.

ParticipantI am frustrated by these charges of hypocrisy. If Dems are charging Reps with hypocrisy for reversing their position on this issue since 2016, are they trying to claim that they were against Obama appointing Merrick Garland? It probably should be noted that Obama was trying to goad his opposition into giving his nomination a chance. Trump would like his allies to give his appointment that consideration. Not getting one’s way is not a basis to make this kind of charge.

rjnwmillParticipantThanks. The more high quality choices the better.
The competition to become the nominee seems to be driving the process to a superior result.

Genuine RealistParticipantI’m torn. To which candidate should I dedicate my Rosary?
I wouldn't give you two cents for all your fancy rules if, behind them, they didn't have a little bit of plain, ordinary, everyday kindness - yeah, and a little looking out for the other fella, too.

Rocky17ParticipantThe Rosary is a devotion in honor of the Virgin Mary. It is made up of a set number of prayers. At the start of the Rosary are the introductory prayers which are composed of one Apostle’s Creed, one Our Father, three Hail Mary’s and one Glory Be. In the 16th century, Pope Pius V established the standard fifteen Mysteries of the Rosaries which are grouped into three, the Joyful Mysteries, the Sorrowful Mysteries and the Glorious Mysteries. In 2002, Pope John Paul II added a set of five to the existing fifteen mysteries and these became known as the Luminous Mysteries. Today, the total number of mysteries is twenty one including the winner on November 3 minus fraudulent votes which is called the Political Mystery.
