Here we have broad based damage to the public that results directly from the abridgment of free speech. Unlike “election interference” claims, the perversion of the relationships here involve bureaucrats not elected officials. As opposed election outcomes, this seems to be about the money. The political types on either side of the aisle have no reason to impede progress or to spin.

Jim Jordan has a tiger by the tail. It will be politically difficult to impair an investigation about damage to kids, about shuttering the economy, anbout out of control bureaucrats and about the unearned profits of self interested businesses. Tonight Rand Paul is smiling as well…Anthony Faucci, not so much.
