AOC issues thinly veiled threat to Kamala Harris as Democrats gear up for White House fight
I doubt it. She seems to realize that if she swings and misses now, at age 36, she is unlikely to run again. A September BGSU/YouGov poll put AOC tied with Newsom at 14% support for a presidential run, but behind Harris and Pete Buttigieg.
However, an earlier AtlasIntel survey in May — the most accurate in the last two Presidential elections — had Buttigieg in front for much of 2025, but then Newsom in front through early 2026…and the last 2026 AtlasIntel poll for the 2028 Democrat Presidential poll had AOC with a +4 point lead.
The most recent poll had Harris at +27, Newsom at +16, Buttigieg at +10, AOC at +10, Ossoff, Kellyi, Shapiro, Beshear, Pritzker and Whitmer between +3 and +6
