Biden auctions off the death of millions of migratory sea birds.

Okay, I’m a conservative. And also a conservationist.

On land wind farms kill millions of migratory raptors, song birds, and other species every year. Now the Biden Administration wants to double down, and wipe out millions of migratory and non migratory pelagic birds to boot. Whales will be in danger of getting snarled in the tethers, as well.

I bet these wind farms will be stunning as the sun sets on the CA coast.

Why are they a priority? I just don’t get it.

I think they may be down to the 2 minute drill on all green.  In 24 months the political winds will likely shift further right.

Their priority for green energy is immediate.   At the same time the price of oil is their biggest worry.   It can easily spike way up and everyone knows it.   They will sell their soul for oil anywhere they can get it except the US.  Drillers be damned.

Meanwhile Nat Gas producers in Odessa and Midland Texas are selling their product to Europe and literally keeping them afloat.   We have little or no excess capacity for oil and little Nat gas in the northeast.   But they are coming to the rescue with offshore wind off the Pacific coast.

Birds be damned.

I wonder what the escape clause for the Migratory Bird Act is.  It’s been around for over 100 years, and has been modified 3-4 times.  It’s a treaty, so the White House can’t indulge in it’s usual fuckery.  (Or at least, they should not be able too.)

20 years from now, the greenies will scream greedy conservatives blocked construction of nuclear power plants in order to make big $$ on manufacturing and installation of solar and wind power stations.
