      1. Santa Ana rejected Measure DD which would allow non-U.S. citizens to vote in local elections.
      2. California passed Prop. 36 to increase sentencing for drug and theft.
      3. California voted No on raising the minimum wage (prop 32)
      4. CA voted No on prohibiting inmates to work (prop 6).
      5. CA voted no on bonds for affordable housing and infrastructure (Prop 5).
      6. CA voted no on expanded residential rent control (prop. 33).

      Blue state, indeed.

      Every time I have rejected measure DD I have regretted it.  Some good memories start with a size D.
