Makes sense. They have plenty of examples. Pelosi. Schumer. Feinstein. Ginsberg. And il capo di tutti capi, Joe Biden — whose mental decline was evident in 2020 and whose presidency was occasioned by the COVID pandemic.

Now the Dems are focused on Trump’s decline. Magically, they have awakened to the political benefits of pushing, promoting, publicizing and engineering age-related decline to a political opponent. And so it goes.

Cynically, I find this to be expected.   The political toolkit “smear your opponent” is open to all, and subject to use by both parties as circumstances make convenient.

And all the Lefties denied that rampant spending with no attendant production would lead to inflation. Biden built a bubble that had staying power–inflation is legendarily difficult to tame. Reagan found that out with Carter’s inflation.
