loaded up and truckin’;
We’re doin’ what they say can’t be done;
We’ve got a long ways to go, and a short time to get there…
THE day has finally arrived! I retire at noon followed by a small, masked-up farewell luncheon, then off to Wylie, TX from Chico, CA with my travel trailer “home” in tow. Bye Bye Camp Fire, Paradise and California! I haven’t seen my wife of 36 years since April 13th because this “pandemic” made flying to see each other an ordeal that we chose to sit out since then (even apart for our July anniversary for the first time ever).
I’m still not sure if I will be able to register and vote as a Texan or if I will have to vote via absentee ballot as a pre-existing Californian. Hell, maybe I can vote in both states and a third time for my dead father by the same name! Haha.
Peace. Out.
