There’s a lot that’s astounding about the current Presidential race, from Biden’s senility finally becoming apparent to the point that it eliminated Biden as a candidate, to what has to be the weakest candidate of any major party ever in Kamala Harris (I still think that was Biden’s revenge), to the ridiculous transgressions of the Far Left Progressives.

But the most amazing part, to me, is the insistent, consistent language of the Left to get rid of Trump by any means possible, a political version of “Who will rid me of this troublesome priest?”

Trump has faced an assassination attempt that missed him by a whisker, a second attempt which thankfully didn’t get off the ground, a third situation in which an armed man stalking Trump was arrested and goodness knows what other attempts he’ll face in the next two weeks.

But the most interesting/astounding part to me is that the Left still demands that Trump be eliminated, and they are calls from the very top of the Democratic party, including:

Obama’s campaign architect, now employed by Harris: “Trump should be destroyed.”

NY Rep Dan Goldman: “He should be eliminated.”

Gina Raimundo, Dept of Commerce Secty: “He should be extinguished.”

      HRC has said he’s evil

Biden: “we have to put a bullseye on Donald Trump.”

Pelosi when asked if she was stuck on an elevator with Trump asked “Does one of us have to come out alive?”

Steve Cohen: “Trump is an enemy of the United States”

Maxine Waters has encouraged Dems to get confrontational with Trump officials. Pelosi said “I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country and maybe there will be when people realize that this is a policy that they defend.” this about immigration.

A poll of Democrats was taken, the question was “Would you be unhappy if Donald Trump was shot?” 1/3rd said NO.

      The Left’s rhetorical blind spot

I think it safe to say Libs are the modern day Jacobins.
