One thing is clear. Biden’s VP will be the most powerful in history:

ParticipantWould be the worst possible choice, similar to McCain picking Sarah Palin. God help us if Republicans lose the Senate.

rjnwmillParticipantIf Biden goes with Warren, how long will the news cycle question the absence of color as opposed to the Warren resume/qualifications.
Is Geraldine Ferraro part deux exciting?
Here's a toast with one last pour, may it last forever and a minute more;

ParticipantA good choice to attract the idealist Left and those educated suburban women.
But, the campaign will take a lot of flak for not choosing a woman of color as they promised. Will the above move make up for the lack of enthusiasm from AAs in votes.
The prospect of having to listen to her from the bully pulpit makes me want to move to Canada.

ParticipantNo chance. He has to select an African American. And since he’s already limited his choice to a woman, it will be an AA woman. Probably Harris.

Participantguys I can’t stand her, but there are certain democrats in my house who look alot like my wife, who firmly believe its Susan Rice, Duckworth or Kamala, but I am going to go with some nice AA lady from the south, I just don’t them very well.
But I’d love to see Duckworth just to watch trumpo insult her and go all tucker carlson on her and watch that ball of flames engulf him.

LegendKeymasterI would think it would be very hard to walk back from the woman of color commitment.

ParticipantThe office has changed a bit from the day Truman took over for FDR – and learned for the first time about the Manhattan Project.
