With unconstitutional income tax, WA is giving up economic advantage | Opinion

SB 6346 will pass an income tax anyway. All Repubs and a few Dems voted against it. The Governor says he’ll sign it, the state senate is expected to approve it quickly. The bill includes an emergency clause to prevent Washingtonians’ right of referendum to repeal it.
Six times, the state supreme court has ruled against it. It’s about time to face it again.
