Interesting that UCLA had full latitude to make the Big Ten decision without state involvement or even the regents. Gavin was saying that UCLA should provide an answer as to the benefits.
It will be interesting to see the statements released. The benefits are only the dollars. There is no other real spin that can be placed on it. “student athlete” benefits are really not true. Lifestyles of the “student athletes” will be materially worse with the travel schedules demanded by the new conference.
