Q: How do fans present their fully vaccinated documentation at the gates?
A: Fans must be prepared to show proof of full vaccination in order to comply with planned random inspections at the gates. Full vaccination is defined as completion of the two dose regimen of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine administered TWO WEEKS or more in advance of the game to be attended.
Bring an electronic or paper copy of your COVID-19 vaccination record with you to the game. Please note that your vaccination documentation must be a copy of the CDC card issued or a record of vaccination directly from the healthcare provider who administered the vaccine with an appropriate ID matching the name on the proof of vaccination.
I don’t see the problem. Voter fraud is essentially non-existent, statistically speaking, and everyone has the right to vote.
Unlike voter fraud, the pandemic is still very real and you do not have a right to attend a game and spread a disease — a very real possibility with major health consequences for people.
Wait. It’s discriminatory for a state to require an ID to vote, because people of color can’t get ID’s. Too hard, too expensive. To ask them to, is Jim Crow, no, Jim Eagle type regulations.
But to require a fan to have an ID isn’t similarly discriminatory? Guess MLB and the Giants don’t want people of color in the stands (or buying beers).
