Thoughts on yesterday’s game?
I saw play calling that was un-Shawlike. Tavita’s handiwork? Maybe Shaw is treating TP like he treats quarterbacks. Gotta spend 4 years on the scout team before getting in the game.
That said, we have two wins thanks to a blocked extra point and a fumble.

LegendKeymasterA W is a W.
We had a couple of TDs taken off the board by penalties. So we “coulda” won by more.
We reverted to form on d. Got mashed a bunch. We got lucky their top Rb got hurt.
still, mills showed some creativity and the play calling was pretty good.
And it’s a W. I’ll take it.

cardcrimsonParticipantAnd the folks on TOS are ready to anoint Shaw as the coach of the year and Mills as a sure fire NFL QB.
Mills may have the talent, but doubtful he’s as ready as Mac Jones, Trask or Fields, let alone the kids from ND State and BYU. Then there’s some guy from a school on a lake in SC, as well. Somebody stated Mills should do well, as this is a fairly weak QB class. . . .I’m betting there will be at least six taken in the first round, and Mills won’t be one of them.
I hope he does well, but he’s just not be developed liked those ahead of him.
One of the funniest comments I’ve heard from TOS, was that if Shaw had won one or both of the Covid Mills games (Oregon, Colorado), he’d be headed to Alabama take over after his remarkable success here this year. Laugh out loud ridiculous.

ParticipantMaybe Shawvita need to be away from home and with nothing to lose to call a good game on offense. I had no cringe moments in regards to our play calling.
Jones has tendency to cut away from his blockers. ironically it makes the task for the D easier as they catch him on their way to the hole. I would like to see him follow his blocks more often and cut to the outside.
Mills is good at running our complex O. I give him the nod because we don’t get any delay of game penalties under his leadership. Also, I don’t see him frenetically calling for plays from the sideline the way his predecessor did .
Is TOS the Rivals site. For the life of me I can’t learn how to navigate that sucker. I think I joined twice…
