It was a miserable experience. It sucked not having a father around. Not only does a child lose half the parenting experience, not only is a child on his or her own for far too long (my sister and I were the proverbial latchkey kids, at the age of 8, we did all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.), the single parent is frequently angry and abusive. It’s a sxxxtshow all around. And if you’ve had a chance to read Democrat Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s study on babies born out of wedlock, he closed it with a warning that if the 3.1% of caucasian babies born out of wedlock approached the 24% of african american babies born out of wedlock, then that would be a disaster for society.
Welcome to the disaster. Now 18% of caucasian babies and 64% of black infants are born out of wedlock.

A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.
After a particularly rough marriage, a friend of mine (professional writer, multiple books published by legit publishers) just finished a manuscript on why marriage is a bad deal for men. Here’s the title and subtitle, a little twist on Gloria Steinem’s famous quote:
“A Man Needs a Woman Like a Fish Needs a Bicycle:
“365 Reasons Why Men Shouldn’t Get Married.”

Marriage has NEVER been a great deal for men. Why would it be? A Man’s best strategy is to have as many children from as many women as possible and to let the community take care of them.
Congrats to libs for letting us play out the worst of our evils.
