Rocky17ParticipantBiden`s mental deterioration is very obvious and he borders on the incoherent. His handlers will never let him out there against Trump. Even if they know each softball question in advance and he has prepared answers, Trump will skewer him. He will find some “legitimate” reason to back out and the MSM will back him. For him to go out there in public on national television would be political suicide. He cannot remember any position on any issue he has taken in the past and reinvents them every day. Totally embarrassing. He is singularly unqualified because of his mental state to hold the position for which he is running.

LegendKeymasterAgree with Rocky.
not to mention that Biden is an establishment candidate running on a platform of reform and change. He was part of the biggest change oriented campaign with Obama, whose administration had plenty of racial police tensions to trigger reform off of (Michael Brown was a bad case for reform, but it was very high profile, anybody remember the beer summit? Much better case for reform.).
Why doesn’t he get the question to the effect of “Mr Biden, the current president has had an unrelenting stream of criticism for his rhetoric, with a lot of that criticism being that he stokes racial tension. Nevertheless, this administration has passed landmark criminal justice reform, opportunity zone legislation, and has overseen very favorable conditions for minority owned business growth. Why didn’t your administration with president obama, which you are very fond of calling the ‘Obama/Biden’ administration, handle any of these issues well during its 8 years, and why didn’t you address any of these issues in your debates last winter? In other words, Mr. Biden, has this issue become important to you only because it is suddenly relevant and inflamed and not because your political philosophy demands it?”
Then, we can watch the dissembling begin.
But, since we have no journalists in mainstream roles (whores, all of them), we will never hear that question popped.

Rocky17ParticipantThe proverbial +1. Exactly, PL. The USA is probably the least racist country on this planet. Trump for all his braggadocio has been a darned good President, resolved many issues, taken the correct positions and works 18-20 hours a day.
My question of the month which no one anywhere ever poses or much less answers is WHY the MSM is promoting these garbage non issues of the Dem party and what they hope to gain in the long run. Their parent corporations have no immunity to the socialist laws and edicts that will certainly be enacted if the Dems hold all three branches of the federal government. They have shareholders who are ordinary middle and upper class people and investment institutions including pension funds. Why would CNN, for example, keep the dwarf king Jeff Zucker on as CEO as their reputation for newsworthiness and ratings continue to plummet?
With all my brilliant intuition and recognized cognitive genius, I am clueless.

ParticipantI dread the debates for several reasons:
1) if Biden shows up, the press will crown him the winner. Period.
2) if Biden chokes, 49.9 % of the electorate and 80 plus per cent of Democrats
will still vote for him proving once and for all that the American people are
stupid beyond belief.
3) if Trump ko s Hiden Biden, the suburban mother’s are going to object to
his being “ mean” and will vote for Jo anyway because it’s trophies for
everyone.

LegendKeymasterGpn’s take is a good one.
the bar is so low for Biden right now, if he gets out of a debate with trump without completely losing his keys he will be coddled through the process.
it’s actually pretty funny and sad. The hatred for Trump the man has completely overwhelmed any actual discussion of policy issues or even putting forward a candidate who can. Right now all we have is a vote for trump or not for trump.
If trump doesn’t win, my hunch is he will love that. It’s good for the brand.

ParticipantYou are correct Legend. If the Orange One doesn’t win, he will turn the experience into winning somewhere else at something else.
More interestingly for me, if he doesn’t win, it might be the first time we have our own version of a shadow government with tweets ( followed by millions of people) criticizing the Ds at every level. Trump unleashed will be fun.
