      Apparently political extremism attracts thrill-seekers who are mentally slower than normal.  Who knew?

      I’m having a little trouble processing this.

      1) Conservatives are impulsive and insensitive.  I guess that’s why conservatives were torching cities last summer.
      2) Extremists are thrill seeking risk takers, prone to impulsive behavior.  They also tend to be very cautious.  Uh, aren’t those completely different characteristics?

      I’m confused….

      Yeah.  All those cautious impulsives out there are tearing things up.   Makes sense.
