AG Garland is testifying before the House Judiciary Committee this morning. There is interest on one side of the aisle in the recent notice committing the DoJ to investigate and prosecute incidents of violence and threats of violence directed at elected administrators and school staff. Threats are a bad thing. How frequently it occurs is unclear.
Alternatively, thousands of teachers report that they have suffered threats and physical harm at the hands of students. AG Garland has remained silent on this topic today.
