(Kate) Brown called the situation a “spectacle of lawlessness” which must end and said she had conveyed her very grave concerns to the U.S. Department of Justice and the White House.

“Federal authorities must move quickly to end the occupation and hold all of the wrongdoers accountable,” the governor said. “And until ……… is free of it, I will not stop insisting that federal officials enforce the law.”

A statement from Oregon Gov Kate Brown 4 years ago when ranchers occupied the Malheur National Wildfire Refuge for 19 days.  Today, 51 days into the destruction of Portland, she wants federal law enforcement to leave because their presence escalates tensions.

When I was reading this, I was impressed that Brown would go up against the effete Portland mayor. Then I finished reading and wanted to barf at the disingenuousness.
