Saw that Thomas Pritzker “deeply regrets” his 10+ year association with Jeffrey Epstein.
Doesn’t surprise me much that Tom and Epstein were involved. I had some business dealings with him many years ago, and suffice it to say, he didn’t act ethically, then proceeded to act surprised when we fired his hotel chain. Frankly…he didn’t strike me as very bright. Entitled, certainly…but not very smart. To put it mildly, I didn’t care for the man.
Through an interesting set of circumstances, I had dinner with his father, Jay, many years prior to my dealings with Tom. Unlike Tom, Jay was quite a guy, very impressive. That man was smart…admitted to U. of Chicago at age 14. He had a little something on the ball, let me tell you.
