Every time I hear Biden talk about how low he’s kept inflation, I want to ask him directly “What in the hell are you talking about?”
EVERYTHING I buy is considerably more expensive than it was 1-5 years ago…everything. Eggs, bread, meat, cheese, vegetables, restaurant meals…either the food is much, much more expensive, or the portion sizes have shrunk (shrinkflation?).
Anyway…people notice. It’s a basic cost of living…and it’s likely to cost Biden his job.

I walked into a local smoothie bar and bought a smoothie last week. I didn’t even ask about price. I figured 10 bucks was par.
13 bucks. For a smoothie.
The smoothie was good but I won’t be back.
