Saw your post on TOS. You are absolutely correct. It has nothing to do with Grad parties, Fourth of July parties, unmasked weddings or backyard BBQs. It is completely socio-economic, and it’s shameful journalism that the Chron and others don’t point it out. Take a look at CCC’s breakdown by city. Richmond, Antioch, San Pablo, etc are getting crushed currently; Alamo, Moraga, Orinda (the original county hotspot), Walnut Creek, etc. all doing fairly well.

PS I’d post there, but contrary to what any of them say about never banning anyone, I’m clearly banned. . . .

I don’t say it’s “completely “ socioeconomic. Just that it’s a huge factor, essentially being ignored.   And I just don’t get the “avoidance”.  It’s not assigning “blame” to those in such circumstances.  To the contrary, it’s pointing out inequalities. It’s tragic.

About TOS. If you want Stanford football news there is a guy named Sam who has inside info. Something has shaken up recruiting as Shaw has made many offers for the 2022 class. Too late to help this year’s awful class. There is also fruitful discussion about the future of college sports and post-Covid whether they will care about Shawvita and the program.

Not knocking this site PL. This is a political site where the insane interact with the ill informed and the astute. Fun reading the threads and getting a kick out of posters who sometimes edit their posts seven or eight times in a few minutes. Also a kick to enter the site without logging in about 1 out of 10 times. I hope Spike continues to post from the Republic of Texas and that he reports on the continuing attempt of the descendants of Santa Ana to retake the territory.
