She added that Democrats have “a lot of work to do” to “connect” with Trump voters, Obama said.
“Let’s remember that tens of millions of people voted for the status quo, even when it meant supporting lies, hate, chaos, and division,” she wrote. “We’ve got a lot of work to do to reach out to these folks in the years ahead and connect with them on what unites us.”

LegendKeymasterIt’s a fascinating strategy: foment outrage, division, and violence that will end when the good guy gets elected. Thereafter, point to the absence of violence as “healing” and “unity” that the bad guy couldn’t manage.
It’s as if we are in a made for TV movie. A bad one.
In reality it is the only leg they have to stand on: that Trump was bad for the country. If he wasn’t, then a LOT of Dems are really bad people. Really bad.
I still believe that history will judge Trump’s presidency favorably from a policy perspective. Yeah, he’s a boor, and that will ultimately he his downfall as a politician, but is that really surprising? I think that’s a lot less surprising than Arab countries recognizing Israel, people of color having the most economic opportunity of all time, and a massive spotlight being placed on the power of an intransigent bureaucracy.

ParticipantIt’s great fiction about a guy who was elected President who can’t fill up a minivan of supporters. You can’t dream this stuff up but maybe someone can try to write an Appendix as in 1984 to explain the official language of team Biden. Like the official language of Oceania.
So the good guy never got elected. Hate Trump did.
I see the final vote count as:
Trump – 71,000,000 votes or more
Hate Trump – 75,000,000 votes or less
Biden/Harris – Maybe 20 votes tops.

This is a consistent with the Obamas. They are right, they just can’t find the correct method of getting their message across so everyone else can see they are right.
No hubris there. It never crossed Michelle’s mind they might be wrong.
