Minneapolis violence. Who knew?

No idea why this is happening.  Huge surge in violence in Murderapolis, I mean Minneapolis.  Homicides have surged 50%.  I don’t understand.  Weren’t the police supposed to be the problem?  The city council voted to de-fund and dismantle the police department.  Wasn’t that supposed to solve everything?

More than 100 officers have departed.  From 888 budgeted positions, they are down to 735 officers.

175 officers are claiming PTSD because of the civil unrest:

“Ron Meuser Jr., a Twin Cities personal injury attorney, said he represents 175 Minneapolis police officers who have left the force or are in the process of filing disability claims that would allow them to leave their jobs permanently, many citing PTSD from recent civil unrest.”

It was reported this evening that the genius level Minneapolis city council has authorized funds to rehire one half the number of police officers who have left as they cut funding and gave it to social services.

This means that the solution to violence caused by aggressive, racist police officers is to……………………………hire more police officers.  Such is the logic of our new progressive leaders who will soon be in charge in DC and spreading their wisdom among us.
