If he can do what he says he wants to do with Twitter, it could be a game changer.

Unfortunately to back free speech is to back racists and misogynists and separatists of all types even if unintentionally. That leaves anyone on the side of freedom in the hands of the smear artists.

Freedom is messy.

I’d settle for absolute transparency re the algorithms used to curtail speech.

I don’t want or need to license “fire” in a crowded theatre. I don’t want bots dominating the public square. But I certainly want to know what’s being abridged, why and by who.
