In what can only be described as an event from another galaxy, the NY Times has agreed Trump was right (as in a stopped clock being correct twice a day) about the closing of schools being a bridge too far.
Here in St Johns county Florida our schools are open, regular public school was suspended two months only in the spring and day care centers, pre-schools and kindergartens were never closed even for a day. Parents have the option of remote learning but only a handful of students have opted for it in high school and junior high.

When Trump the personality gets out of the way and off the stage (whenever that is), Trump the President will be judged much more positively on what he did prior to COVID, and what he did during COVID.
