      Behold Barack Antoinette

“I think the nouveaux riches Obamas are seriously tone-deaf,” said the authority on opulence, André Leon Talley. “We all love Beyoncé. But people have so many things to worry about with Covid, voting rights, climate warming. People are afraid of being evicted from their homes. And the Obamas are in Marie-Antoinette, tacky, let-them-eat-cake mode. They need to remember their humble roots.”

The list of people-who-made-Obama-President-but-were-not-cool-enough-for-Obama’s-Party disinvitees was long and impressive.  David Axelrod.  Nancy Pelosi.  Rahm Emmanuel.  Larry David.  Stephen Colbert.

Humble my foot. Obama is a child of privilege if there ever was one. He was raised by his rich white grandparents and went to the best schools in the country.

Being raised by one’s grandparents doesn’t confer disadvantage.

      Humble indeed.

Clinton had humble beginnings.  Not sure any other president since Reagan did.

Again, facts are irrelevant, all about the narrative.
