      So for the Deep State…if you really feel they’re inexperienced and incompetent, why not vote them in? If they’re truly incompetent, they shouldn’t be able to do any damage, right? And if you vote against them, what if Trump wakes up and puts someone truly competent in their place? That basically happened when Gaetz was torpedoed in favor of Florida’s Attorney General Pam Bondi. I agree, Gaetz was likely not up to the task in a substantive way and was selected mainly because he was loyal to Trump. So he got replaced by the former AG of Florida, who is, by every estimation, very good at her job.

      my really simple answer:  I want these leaders to do a good job.  Incompetence unfortunately precludes that.   Thus I am happy with Pam Bondi replacing Gaetz.
