rjnwmillParticipantRoscoe, I know you’re right! Just help me understand; $3 trillion v $1 trillion?
No additional state & local bail out money?
No money for insecure mail in voting?
No direct transfer payments to illegal aliens?
Direct transfer payments to those earning up to $100,000 per year?
As to what was included, who called loan deferrals, eviction abatement, an extension of federal unemployment & a payroll tax deferral meager? And who preferred short duration extensions? And by the way, how broad a slice of the electorate will benefit from these measures?
Is it time for Nancy to celebrate with a visit to the ‘ol freezer for some ice cream? Should she publicly tear up her 2,000 page Cares Act to get in a public bow? She’s got so much to show for her role as a great negotiator. She kicked his ass once again, no?

LegendKeymasterI hope you are being sarcastic. I hope the democrats sue the administration to stop all these benefits.
While I don’t like the executive branch acting without the legislature, I can’t fault it in this case.

rjnwmillParticipantTotally sarcastic. I just avoided a debt service obligation on $2 trillion bucks…thanks to Nancy’s ability to again kick the Orange One’s tail! And now she’s put such pressure on the Orange that he’ll be putty in her hands going forward!
And I’m sure our resident lawyer appreciates the strength of her position now! She and Chuck are left alone on the stage begging for congressional republicans to return to the table to “negotiate”. How long before they tire of that role and slink off, promising to get even…in a galaxy far, far away? I bet Orange will have many sleepless nights Roscoe!

Rocky17ParticipantWhen will any interviewer ask any Democrat a tough question? Hell, even Bill Maher makes Chris Wallace look like Joyce Behar.

ParticipantLove the WH’s negotiating tactics. If we can’t agree the Executive will go at it alone. You sue us to stop payments and we will tell everyone you don’t care about the American public. You go along, you lost. You come back to the negotiating table you are by definition in a weaker position,
Nancy and chuck are relegated to faux outrage.
