Ok, so I’m one who thinks the whole “abolish the police” move is silly…but I also don’t think many are actually advocating it. For those that are: I say let them go first.
What are the real reform moves that could reduce the number of people killed by police but also maintain public safety?
Use more technology in arrests? Mark people who resist arrest with ink just like bank robbers, then leave them alone for capture later.
Automate traffic stops with drones and bar codes / IOT?
Require documented probable cause for traffic stops (i.e., stop the “terry” stop, I think it is…need GR around here) before the stop via video.
And, no, don’t mention Camden NJ.
