cardcrimsonParticipantWith football season approaching, I’m looking for a good, tolerant forum for Stanford sports (tolerant, as I was kicked off the Cardboard without explanation about 3 months ago). The old bootleg seems dead, even the pay version. Can’t seem to find anything else. Suggestions?

LegendKeymasterI could open another board here for stanford fb only. Anybody think that would be of use?

cardcrimsonParticipantI’d enjoy it, though would like a few other sports as well (water polo in particular) to be included in the conversation.
Thanks!

ParticipantHaven’t been on the Cardboard for a long time. I found it was becoming a lot like Portland. Inclusive, welcoming, big tent stuff as long as one believes, speaks and dresses like everyone else. Perfect example of Hive mentality.

LegendKeymasterI take a keen interest in stanford football, but got tired of the boards when being “honest” was considered a recruiting liability.
I will also say that David Shaw has made football less exciting over the past few years. That probably colors my POV on engaging much online.

LegendKeymasterI added the board to the forum page. Give it a shot.
Also added what my uninformed prediction is for the season: Hint…it isn’t great.
