Sentence is “unconditional discharge” meaning the felony conviction is retained, but there is literally no penalty…no jail time, no probation, no community service, no prison, no fine.
It’s essentially a marketing gift to Democrats. It’s a common verdict for misdemeanors, incredibly rare for felonies.
My take is that the Democrat judge realizes that this is a BS case with BS underpinnings that he largely manufactured and took to a Democrat court with a Democrat jury. Trump is appealing the verdict and it will almost certainly be overturned on appeal given that the court largely manufactured the entire case.
