ParticipantAnyone have any thoughts on why this happened?
I think that it was the most consequential moment in election history in my lifetime. And we are now in one hell of a pickle.

rjnwmillParticipantGA and other states are simple to explain in my opinion. Democrats were smarter and more effective than republicans.
They figured out how to goose their voter turnout using the virus as cover. Low participation voters were used with the party casting their ballots under rules that were not approved by state legislatures. (Unions have been doing this for 75 years.)
Creative, opportunistic and effective for sure.
Republicans have a real problem now. How do they get the genie back in the bottle? They would be subject to a voter suppression narrative. If these new processes stand, the numbers are clear with democrats holding a plurality of low participation voters. Law suits to follow on the constitutionality of the alterations that lack state legislative authority.

ParticipantOccam’s Razor. Give people a choice to vote for $2,000 to $5,000 right into their bank account or nothing and they will always take the money. All you have to do is fill out a ballot. Easy call. Perfect storm.

Wasn’t a quick flip, but a slow drift.

ParticipantThere was a 26% increase in counted votes in both elections from 2016 and 2018. 3.9 million to 4.9 million out of 7.2 million registered. Biden jumped 4% in 2020 over HRC in 2016 and 4% over Obama both times. Hard to believe for a candidate who was AWOL .
The shift to blue was due to pandemic politics. Lock-it-down, then mail-in-voting. Outside money. Pandemic cash. No drift at all.
Not going away. Ever.

cardcrimsonParticipantIsn’t she under investigation for voter fraud for trying to get people to temporarily move to Georgia to vote? Must be true, saw it on the MSM. . . .By any means necessary, right?

[/quoteHumor is pretty good messaging. Good to see once in a while.
We are going to be led now by those whose outer words are not consistent with what is in their heart. Slippery, sneaky, ambiguous, without core values and principles. That’s the smile part of the picture.

Thank God I relocated to Texas. I have been visiting gun shows nearly every weekend. Praying for secession.
