      I found the attached link a fascinating read on the dynamics going on in NYC that are reshaping the city itself.

       

      I bave never ever lived in NY, but love to visit there. This was an interesting read on how institutions and financial interests are driving out the diversity that is the flavor of the city. Reminds me of how the tech nerds are gentrifying SF into (as this article class NY) “one big gated community.”

      Reminds me of both Seattle and Portland.  Portland is blaming developers and VRBO for high rents.  LOL.

      A few weeks ago, the Portland mayor was complaining because high rise towers were starting to block views of Mt Hood from downtown.  What a revelation!

      Really makes you wonder what elected officials are thinking.
