Kash Patel has vowed retribution. As FBI director, he could do it.
My take is this…if you think the FBI needs cleaning up, Patel is a complete outsider, suspicious of existing FBI leadership and he’s probably the one to do it. If you think the FBI is perfectly balanced and apolitical and its leadership is not at all weaponized or beholden to one party or another, then he’s the wrong guy.

I don’t like language like “retribution” at all. If the best improvement is to look forward and stop the politicization of the FBI, then we should hope for that.
retribution implies turnabout is fair play. That’s childish. The FBI has been abusive.
