Truly unbelievable turn of events. On one hand Putin deserves it.  On the other it’s not clear what a true coup leads to. It’s not at all clear the bolsheviks were better than the czars.

There is a lot of money to be made with political upheaval especially in an armed nuclear state.   Yet commodity futures haven’t moved.  Crude oil stable.  Currency exchange is flat.  This all happened on a weekend when markets are closed.
