LegendKeymasterI don’t find the comment all that controversial. It’s narrow—he could easily have inserted white man keeping the power on, for instance—but not the gaffe he’s used to.
Now, if he had said, for instance, that he owes his bunkering at home to a black woman’s pancake syrup, he would be in trouble.

rjnwmillParticipantJoe says he’s living large and safely because he’s spent 47 years in public service making certain blacks/women/union workers would be obligated to serve his personal interests…if they want food on the family table. Doesn’t that bring us back to the high risk working conditions that OSHA was to address? Mining? Meat packing? Construction trades?
Is that the lesson learned around the Scranton kitchen table? Did he pass those values on to Hunter? Come on man!
