…not coincidentally, 1,000 undocumented immigrants crossed into El Paso, TX.

Largest migrant caravan in HISTORY illegally crosses the Rio Grande into  El Paso | Daily Mail Online

The INS fears that once Title 42 concludes, literally thousands of people per day, a million a year, more or less, will cross into the U.S.A.

More than 3 million illegal immigrants have crossed into the US since Bide took the oath to “defend and protect”.  Plus, the border patrol estimates there were 1 million “getaways” in each of the last two years.  When Title 42 expires we will face 18,000 immigeants daily.  That is 500,000 per month.  6,000,000 per year.

And not one word from the left on how to stop it.  Mayorkas says the border is secure.  I wonder what his definition of secure is.  Certainly different than mine.

FAIR estimates that there are now 15.5 million illegal immigrants in the United States, led by California with 3.266 million illegal immigrants.

When Title 42 ends in five days, estimates are that illegal crossings will increase from 1,000 to 4,000 per day, or nearly 1.5 million annually.

18 months ago Colorado was praised for passing laws to help illegals.

In the meantime, the not so lovable Newsom is crying over the influx of immigrants taking advantage of laws and social programs that benefit illegals. “Newsom claimed the U.S. government is sending “more and more” migrants to California because the state is “taking care of folks.”  https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/newsom-says-california-about-to-break-amid-flood-of-illegal-migrants-when-title-42-expires/ar-AA15gCWt

Not sure how to take that, but I assume its the humor you find in irony.

Yeah. Maybe I wasn’t clear. My point was that it’s amusing to me when politicians back programs they aren’t likely to suffer a consequence for, and then they suffer consequences for them. I don’t think it’s entirely ironic because the outcome could have been anticipated and the policies were wrong.

      BD –

Same old, same old…government pukes spending more than is available in their dreams trying to buy votes. See student loan forgiveness, draining the SPR, cutting reimbursement rates for home solar power generation and ending/shortening carpool lane access for buyers of green vehicles.

These guys are Lucy and voters are Charlie Brown.

I think the capper for me was Bernie Sanders wanting all convicted felons in prison to vote, including the Boston Marathon bomber “even for terrible people.”
