While playing my 60th round this year yesterday (free golf for vets), hit me that cheating at golf and election fraud have similarities.

      1.  In golf, cheating is skillful and carefully thought out well in advance.
      2.  It is never done in matches where opponents require strict compliance with the rule of fair play by closely watching every shot. Voter fraud is really hard to do in my state too.  Show identification or you can’t vote.
      3.  It is very difficult to catch a skilled golf cheater. They have thought it out. And there as so many ways.  Moving a fairway lie 1/2 inch can win a match and a skiller cheater gets away with it every time.  You just can’t prove it.  They simply deny.
      4. A really skilled cheater can conceal what he did.  Turning his back while watching to see who is looking. Grounding his club in a trap.  If you get caught, you say no it didn’t happen.  You can’t prove it.
      5. Using extra clubs.  Same as using extra ballots when needed.
      6. Capping scores as triple bogeys.  Capping opponents votes.
      7. The first hole mulligan.  Bad start is awarded a second try without penalty. Really?  In voting, you can get your mulligan late into the night when the polls have closed.
      8. Long gimmee putts.  Like bringing a ballot into a nursing home for a voter that doesn’t know where they are and doing the ballet for them.

The thing is about guys who cheat in golf is that everyone knows what they do after a while. And they keep doing it.  Over and over.  If they get called out they become very insulted and belligerent.  But at really good private clubs, you cheat and you’re done.

Golfers who cheat do it because they want to win at any cost.

If you cheat at golf, you cheat at everything else in life.  The people who orchestrated the algorithmic fiasco to steal the Presidential election are not golfers, I assure you.  No one would play with them.  I hope they get caught because if they do not, we all are screwed big time because there will be more to come and not just elections.  Maybe the Dems who have their thumbs up their ass and think what happened is really cool should pull them out of their rear ends and stick it up in the air and see which way the winds are blowing.  It is a category five.

      You live in New Hampshire?

      Yup.

The golf courses are at 90%  right now.   Unbelievable.  A lot of the Massholes who are not working come up to America and fill up the New Hampshire courses.   NH is far less restrictive.  Tough to get a tee time even up in the Rochester area which has some good tracks.   Had to play Kingswood in Wolfboro last week and even that was full.

22 years ago my son spent a summer at the Wolfboro Camp School. He hated it. Living in tents, “Come on man.”  His destination of choice is a hotel in an active urban neighborhood.

I moved to NH in 1998 after retiring from dental practice and lived there until I moved to Florida in Nov, 2001 after 9/11.  Built a home in Forest Green in Rye from the Green Bros. construction company.  My kids were at UNH in Durham.  Beautiful area.  Wish I had kept the Rye home as well as the condo i bought for the kids in Durham.  Betty`s is still my favorite breakfast place in the world.  Hope its still there.

You should have kept both.   The area is booming. Building everywhere on both sides of Great Bay.  You can’t lose in Rye.

      Betty’s still there. Busy.

Might be the best ocean front location on the northeast coast.  Had some Laphroaig at the bar inside the hotel last Friday ala Legend and Prince Charles.  Life is good.

John Daly describes the golf habits of Slick Willie Clinton and Donald Trump.  He’s played with both and opines on both.

Guess which one’s the cheater in John’s eyes?
