Here’s a good read on overall homicide spikes in large cities. The author goes to great pains to show that Republican Led cities are enduring the same spike that democrat led ones are.  I will leave that for you to judge.

At this point this story is very dog bites man.  There no escaping the logic of a largely unemployed, hot, scared, crowded mass of people whose better thinkers advocate against policing and in fact demonize police starting to kill each other more often.

the answer?  Jobs, school, church, sports, free call of duty, hell anything that keeps young men occupied and out of gangs, fights, and vendettas. Oh, and police. Preferably one every few blocks in places where teens are allowed to roam free after 11pm.

In other words the answer is everything that the Democrat party is against.  Well, except maybe free call of duty.

I suspect that free grand theft auto would be more popular than free call of duty.  TakeTwo/Rockstar will probably add a “defund the police” feature to their games to make it more lifelike.

When I read the header I was hoping that it didn’t refer to Homicide Spike.
