There are approximately 52-53 million foreign-born immigrants in this country. Conservatively, 14-19 million are here illegally. But Democrats treat them better than they treat citizens, according to the Washington Examiner:

Nixon was absolutely correct: there is a huge pool of voters that often gets overlooked and is largely taken for granted – The Silent Majority. For decades both parties not only ignored them, they abused them. Only Reagan and Perot inspired them. As Clinton summarized, “They work hard and play by the rules.” This was pure political manipulation by Clinton, of course. (Clinton was an early version of Gavin Newsom, only he was a less detectable liar). Trump has stirred these folks to life. I think it is at least as much his attactiveness for this group as it is Dems’ vile machinations alienating them.
Anyone who is paying close attention and who isn’t blinded by partisan dogma can see what’s coming. Dems, as they are prone to do, are focused entirely on current and very short term political tactics. Trump, Bessent, Rubio, Burgum, Wright, Gabbard, Hegseth, Bondi and their whole team have taken steps that will begin to show increasingly powerful impact as the year goes on. The Silent Majority will awaken and its growth will compound.
Or not. But it will be fun to watch.

I hope it happens. The challenge we face is that every two years, short-term thinking prevails.
Along those lines, Newsom’s popularity has increased. Hisfavorability rating increased from 46% to 56% and the California legislature’s rating has improved from 45% to 53%.

The challenge with short-term thinking is that it’s great…until you hit an obstacle or you run out of other people’s money.
