- Distanced herself from Biden and admitted that there were failures on their collective watch and have a plan prepared to address the multiple failures.
- Took Shapiro instead of Walz as her VP. Walz was a flat-out disaster, the most mock-able national politician since Dukakis.
- Gone on Joe Rogan. Hate to tell her and everyone else this, but Rogan would have softballed his way through the interview.
- Stuck to the “raise taxes on the rich” pledge, IMHO Trump’s most glaring vulnerability. “why elect an NYC billionaire?” she never really asked.
- Gone to an event and had multiple beers with guys and proclaimed the election “the Year of the Manly Man” and said there as no such thing as toxic masculinity.
- Been genuine and authentic.
- Articulated really, really good reasons for her 14 separated policy reversals. One, we can understand, anyone can learn. Two–yeah, okay. But watch it. Three? You should just join the other party. But 14???!?!?!
She lost the election by a landslide, but the popular vote was closer than people think.

Along those lines, that’s what pisses me off more than anything. I get that the whole #metoo movement was against sleazy men who traded sexual favors for career advancement, and many women had careers that were cut short because they didn’t sleep with married men.
Those guys were sleaze, but it doesn’t say much for the women who chose to sleep with the married men. They get zero opprobrium, no grief at all, for taking that step…which Kamala Harris did. Where was the outrage when she was sleeping with the married Willie Brown and where was the outrage when he gave her two political appointments (and a BMW, as Brown points out) based upon their affair? If a male politician did that, he wouldn’t get elected dogcatcher, and might end up in jail. Why is a female politician sanctified to the point that the press refuses to address it?
To me, that’s the dark side of the #metoo movement. Sleazy guys like Harvey W. go to jail. Women who engaged in that behavior…nothing.
