The author depicts Tessier-Lavigne in pretty positive terms.  I had not known that he had stood up to the Covid Nazis in 2020 and defended freedom of speech.  I am increasingly ashamed of my alma mater.  It is very sad.  And the writer who developed the original story of academic fraud by Tessier-Lavigne is still being celebrated despite shortcomings in his investigation that are coming to light.

"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I

So you think Allysia Finley glossed over MTL’s violations?  Honestly, I have a lot of respect for her reporting.  I have literally zero confidence in the writer for the Stanford Daily.
