ParticipantThe author depicts Tessier-Lavigne in pretty positive terms. I had not known that he had stood up to the Covid Nazis in 2020 and defended freedom of speech. I am increasingly ashamed of my alma mater. It is very sad. And the writer who developed the original story of academic fraud by Tessier-Lavigne is still being celebrated despite shortcomings in his investigation that are coming to light.

So you think Allysia Finley glossed over MTL’s violations? Honestly, I have a lot of respect for her reporting. I have literally zero confidence in the writer for the Stanford Daily.
