When Trump proposed taking over Gaza, only Scott Adams said that he knew what Trump was doing. Scott Adams (yes, the Dilbert guy” said that Trump was making a proposal so bad, but credible enough, that it would force the stakeholders / ones who have the most to lose from the proposal to make counter-proposals that would benefit the region.

I agree, however, that as long as the solution involves having a hostile government on its border, Israel is unlikely to go along with it. Still, it has started some movement on a solution that may not destabilize the region.

That’s a great take. Perhaps Trump is also signaling to Iran, China, Russia, stay out of it or we will raise the stakes.

“I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I

That’s the great part of being both a little bit crazy and the meanest mother in the Valley…adversaries never really know what you intend to do or what you’re capable of doing. So everything becomes a negotiating point.

Along those lines, I don’t really understand the Dems who kvetch about Trump’s popularity and election. The Democrats could have put themselves in an advantaged position. They wanted Joe Rogan. Well, you had Joe Rogan for years, he was a Bernie guy. But you dismissed him as a white bro. You ran — and elected and propped up — a senile man for President, who literally couldn’t handle the job from the day he entered it, who had to have an array of handlers to control access to him. And then , to top it all off, you nominated the single least qualified individual as your candidate, and she proved in every day and in every way that she wasn’t up to the job as she blew through a $1 billion budget.

How do you not understand that your party is bereft of ideas, authority, expertise and talent?

Donald Trump is now president. And if he wants to threaten to take over Gaza…or Greenland…people are going to take him seriously. Thanks, Democrats…you helped put him there.

If the liberals ever pay attention, they would stop reacting to everything Donald Trump says as “Trump’s plan is …..”.

Adams has it right, just not for Gaza but for his other outrageous ideas.  Trump throws out an idea and suddenly the opposition starts floating plans and ideas that would otherwise take years of “thoughtful discussion”, aka – kicking the can down the road – before anything substantive happens.
