I’m having a little trouble processing this.

    1) Conservatives are impulsive and insensitive.  I guess that’s why conservatives were torching cities last summer.
    2) Extremists are thrill seeking risk takers, prone to impulsive behavior.  They also tend to be very cautious.  Uh, aren’t those completely different characteristics?

    I’m confused….

“They also posited “requiring certifications from the secretary of defense that the launch order is valid and from the attorney general that it is legal,” and it would require a congressional declaration of war or another specific authorization effort from Congress.”

Oh goodie.   “This missiles are in bound sir,  what do we do?”  “Nothing.  We are waiting on the speaker to get her hair done”.

Dems don’t get the  Constitution. President is CiC, period.  There is a chain of command involved.  We could call this “The Barney Fife” rule.  Sure, you are Commander in Chief, but Congress is going to tell when you can exercise your authority.  WTF….
It seems to me, and I am sure I am biased, that the leftist judges always vote together. On every case. The rightist ones on the other hand, don’t. can someone smarter dispel that notion?
Dems have short, possibly no, memory.  It was not long ago the rallying cry against ACB was she was going to side with Trump to decide the election.

    We know that decision went….

My tax plan – based on my old school believe taxes are for funding government operations, not social engineering. –

Tax all income the same. That is, don’t make a distinction about where the money comes from.  Wages, tips, investments, inheritance- everything.  I would exempt all income from Federal tax below $40k.  Assets like family farms or small businesses would be exempt from the tax calculation.  My thinking is to not force the family into a quick sale (or any sale if they wish to keep the farm or business). Proceeds from the sale would be taxable income when they sell.

    Way to simple……

Our downward spiral is essentially accelerating with every compromise like this.
Truer words. I don’t recognize America any more. Things are going to get interesting in ways that Progressives don’t understand.
Very true. America may be the only country where the first wave of revolutionaries where not devoured by the second wave.  Well, no.  It took over 200 years, but it is happening today.

you can see it happening. You aren’t woke enough, black enough, feminine enough ad infinitum.

Progressives will find themselves swallowed whole by the wokeism they’ve spawned.

I caught a little bit of Burry on the radio during my 10 minute commute.  (Brutal traffic tonight.. )

He added that wealth was made on speculation, not savvy investing.  The little guy never had enough to invest, and the wealthy just got wealthier.

    Does that strike a chord……

I heard he was planning on visiting a local power plant to shovel coal before finding out greenies shut them all down.

Reading the comments is depressing.  One should get used to how stupid people can be, but I still am amazed at what people believe.

Flu vaccine efficacy on its best day is close to to Jonson& Johnsons single dose.   Most of the time it’s around 40% according to the CDC.

All four cases were within 2 weeks of vaccination.  Couldn’t find the reference, but you don’t have instant immunity.  It’s possible these infections started before the second shot took full effect.  4 cases out of how many vaccinations?  meh

Just watched Gemini Man last night.  Life imitates art?

So what do you with genetically altered humans designated as soldiers? Would they be like Blade Runner Replicants, designed to die at a certain age?  Why stop at soldiers?  Why not a service class of human, designed for a specific purpose. What happens when these super soldiers decide unaltered humans are the real enemy? (Tip of the hat to CC for his Kahn reference).

Feels like Brave New World kind of stuff.  Pass me a soma……

Another example of the cover up is worse than the crime.
Cuomo could have released the data and blamed Trump, a safe harbor for Dems.  30 years ago – even 10 years ago – he would have gotten away with it.   Today there are too many people looking at COVID cases and deaths for this to go unnoticed.

Without the orange Boogeyman, dems need someone else to target.  Cuomo might survive in New York, but he is damaged goods on a national stage.

Good read on Biden’s energy policy and why it is at cross purposes to 3 of his campaign promises.  https://thefederalist.com/2021/02/05/how-bidens-energy-policies-will-decimate-american-jobs-for-no-good-reason/

If there is good news, he is on oxygen.

I figured he checked out when the Supremes refused to hear even one case about election fraud.

Wishing for a speedy and full recovery for my favorite yard gnome.

Under the guise of combating racism and “xenophobia,” Biden on Tuesday banned federal workers from referring to COVID-19 as the “China virus” – a favored term of President Trump – and other rhetoric that he believes is insensitive to Asian-Americans.

Nice to see Joe working on serious stuff.  Expecting new executive orders banning the use of West Nile virus, Swine Flu, Spanish Flu and Bird Flu.

It’s really about pandering to the base….keeping a campaign promise no matter how flawed the logic.

My question- would Joe kill the pipeline if St. Obama approved it?

Killing the pipeline does nothing but strengthen our enemies, drive up domestic energy costs and consumer prices.  Oh- jobs.  That’s a damn fine policy move to eliminate jobs in the middle of a job killing pandemic.
