Just watched Gemini Man last night.  Life imitates art?

So what do you with genetically altered humans designated as soldiers? Would they be like Blade Runner Replicants, designed to die at a certain age?  Why stop at soldiers?  Why not a service class of human, designed for a specific purpose. What happens when these super soldiers decide unaltered humans are the real enemy? (Tip of the hat to CC for his Kahn reference).

Feels like Brave New World kind of stuff.  Pass me a soma……

Another example of the cover up is worse than the crime.
Cuomo could have released the data and blamed Trump, a safe harbor for Dems.  30 years ago – even 10 years ago – he would have gotten away with it.   Today there are too many people looking at COVID cases and deaths for this to go unnoticed.

Without the orange Boogeyman, dems need someone else to target.  Cuomo might survive in New York, but he is damaged goods on a national stage.

Good read on Biden’s energy policy and why it is at cross purposes to 3 of his campaign promises.  https://thefederalist.com/2021/02/05/how-bidens-energy-policies-will-decimate-american-jobs-for-no-good-reason/

If there is good news, he is on oxygen.

I figured he checked out when the Supremes refused to hear even one case about election fraud.

Wishing for a speedy and full recovery for my favorite yard gnome.

Under the guise of combating racism and “xenophobia,” Biden on Tuesday banned federal workers from referring to COVID-19 as the “China virus” – a favored term of President Trump – and other rhetoric that he believes is insensitive to Asian-Americans.

Nice to see Joe working on serious stuff.  Expecting new executive orders banning the use of West Nile virus, Swine Flu, Spanish Flu and Bird Flu.

It’s really about pandering to the base….keeping a campaign promise no matter how flawed the logic.

My question- would Joe kill the pipeline if St. Obama approved it?

Killing the pipeline does nothing but strengthen our enemies, drive up domestic energy costs and consumer prices.  Oh- jobs.  That’s a damn fine policy move to eliminate jobs in the middle of a job killing pandemic.

It would be helpful if members of Congress and various state legislatures would actually do something other than run for re-election.
Reminds me of a friend of mine who emigrated from Israel in the 1970s after fighting in one of the wars. He’s a very successful businessman in southern California now (kinda fits the profile of former IDF officer who came to the U.S. and kicked ass). He said that it was extremely confusing as an immigrant when he got here to ever think that anyone wouldn’t be a member of the party of “democracy.” “It’s right there in the name…Democrat…Democracy.” …took him a few years to figure it out, I think. And he’s extremely bright.
Good heavens, let’s hope they never rebrand themselves as “The Party of Free Stuff”.

Big whoop if Lindell is pushing his personal agenda. You act as if he is the first person entering the WH to do so.

As far as martial law, what’s happening in DC this week looks a lot more like martial law than anything we ever saw under Trump.

Bidens handlers wouldn’t let him within 10 miles of that idea.

It’s an interesting thought, but from the dems POV it would be giving up the hill they spent the last 4 years fighting for.

Personally, without Trump to run against I think dems will lose both the house and senate in 2 years.
A couple of thoughts.

And one last little thing to think about. Trump would have been re-elected if any of the three had happened (a) No once-in-a-century pandemic (b) anyone other than Biden were running against him — remember, in the New Hampshire Democratic primary, Kamala Harris got 128 votes and Trump got 1,217 as a write in and (c) Trump wasn’t such a flaming a-hole in public.
I don’t believe the pandemic itself did much damage.  Trump taking center stage trying to be the focal point of every press conference did more damage than COVID.

IMO, his opponent didn’t make a difference in the outcome.  Mr. Ed could have garnered north of 45% of the vote as long as his last name wasn’t Trump.

Your third point is spot on.  Trump did this to himself, just like Hillary shooting herself in the foot in 2016.  Trump taking every slight to a DefCon 5 response grew tiring.  Of course, Dems made it personal.   Trump didn’t have to be likable, just not openly combative.   Doesn’t seems that hard, but obviously that’s not in his DNA.

CC, the DC police and mayor got exactly what they asked for.  Both are now complaining they didn’t get support they requested when help didn’t arrive for 4 hours.

Carson King is the poster child of punishment by woke.  No discounting for doing and saying stupid teenager stuff.  It’s condemning someone with a lifetime of good works to hell for one mis-deed.

I’ve always felt Busch could have made a hell of a dent in the woke movement by stating they were sticking with King, that he is a perfect example of someone who has grown and moved on from past mistakes.  Even the most woke would have trouble finding fault with that position.
