ParticipantI guess Lorraine didn’t like it.
I almost spit out my coffee reading this-
“Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the St. Louis couple who are facing criminal charges for pointing guns at unarmed, peaceful protesters outside their home earlier this year, represented one of the few interviews piped in from beyond the podium.”She must be getting her news from CNN.
Searching with Duckduckgo yields very different results.

ParticipantSecond half video is a tutorial for how to run an offense. Maybe we can find a copy and send it to Shaw.

ParticipantTrying to convince Young Dawg to toss my granddaughters in the car and haul ass north for a few days. Let the Twinadoes free range in the back yard. Unfortunately, daughter in law can’t escape. Asst principal at Willow Glen Middle School. I guess her attendance is mandatory.

Participant

It is an alternate time line, where Lindberg defeats FDR in 1940 presidential election.
I wonder about that. FDR beat Willkie by 5 million votes in 1940, winning 38 states. I don’t see how Lindbergh could have beaten FDR. It had been 13 years since he’d flown the Atlantic, and five years since his child was kidnapped and murdered.
Lindberg ran as the antiwar candidate, vowing to keep USA out another European war. (Hitler was Europe’s, not ours).
WWI ended just 12 years before. Wasn’t that big of leap to believe a strong feeling of isolationism existed for Lindberg to leverage.

ParticipantThe post office delivers approx 475 M pieces of mail every day. If every ballot hit the mail box at the same time it would be roughly a 25% bump. Not even close to Christmas.
The problem is not the Post Office. Its what happens to the ballots once the PO delivers them.

Participant
Agree. I don’t think companies do this lightly and without incentives from the destination state. Suspect there might be a little more going on here.
Perhaps the wealth tax was the last straw.

Participant
I just want to know what they would have campaigned on if not for covid and George Floyd. Would it have been 100 percent Trump? Trump gets more mentions than any Democrat platform planks.
Poll numbers I heard yesterday – 59% of dems are not voting for Joe, they are voting against Trump.
Beat Trump is the Democratic platform.

Rantz: After attacks and taxes, Amazon looks to expand out of Seattle
What prevents elected officials from seeing the end game to what they are doing? Lessons are short lived with this bunch. They forget Boeing relocated it’s HQ out of Seattle, right on the heels of the governor claiming Boeing would never leave Seattle.
Right……..
